HELP WANTED: Upholstery Shop Worker (Furniture / Automotive / Marine)
Established upholstery shop is seeking a worker with experience in furniture, automotive, and/or marine upholstery. Must have some experience. Willing to train the right individual in specific areas.
Responsibilities can include:
Upholstery of auto interiors, and marine seating
Installing vinyl, leather, and fabric
Working on car seats, door panels, headliners, boat cushions, and covers
Stripping old materials and prepping frames and foam
Operating hand tools and staple guns
Maintaining quality craftsmanship and having attention to detail
Qualifications:
Some upholstery experience required (furniture, auto, or marine)
Experience working in an upholstery shop a plus
Experience with vinyl and leather a plus
Attention to detail and pride in your work
Reliable, punctual, and self-motivated
Must be able to take directions and specific instructions
Ability to lift and maneuver furniture and interior components, heavy 50-100 lbs
