Hi Everyone!

I didn't spend a lot of time out in the shop this summer due to the how busy I have been at my day job and in my home life. I was able to complete a few projects including this dresser, which turned out great! This fits perfectly into the room we have been giving a face lift this year to prepare for the arrival of our first kiddo.

The frame and drawers are made from 3/4" maple veneer plywood with edge banding to create a nice finished look. I used full extension slides so you can find those pesky items that like to hide in the back of the drawer. The dresser is 50" wide x 32" tall x 16" deep. I used Rubio Monocoat - Pure to finish everything off. This was my first time using this finish, and I have got to say it is now at the top of my list for furniture finishes. It is easy to apply (only 1 coat required!), there is very little prep or cleanup, has 0% VOC, and is a natural product. I will definitely be using it again!

This week I finished up this beautiful, custom ordered, 18" x 24" cutting board which could also be used as a serving tray. With 25 different pieces of wood, a juice groove, and an always unique fractal pattern this is truly one of a kind.
