Per my brother's request, I took and turned my nieces bedroom door into a Dutch door.

I have made a few of these over the years and honestly this feature has come in quite handy. So it's safe to assume I'll probably be doing this to a door in our own house as well. 🪚🚪

Preventative maintenance (Sanding and fresh coat of oil) -$30

Repair (such as cutting, regluing, adding handles or juice grooves, sanding and oil) is all done by quote.

Back at it in the shed today working on some red cedar planter boxes (pictures to come) and I realized I forgot to share a couple of the smaller things we were working on the last couple weeks.

There was a lot of trial and error with these oak crates so I don't think I'll be making any more of them but not bad for a first attempt. The one with the dowel rods is to help organize cookie or baking sheet pans.

The first Farmers market for us this year will be in Hessel the morning of May 3rd at 10am! Mark your calendar so stop out and say "Hi"!

Finally!! Before & after pictures! 👢🧥🧤🧢

This has been almost finished for about 2 weeks now but we have been busy with a new baby, over half a dozen bottle baby lambs, and a few other small projects. Life has been a tad hectic but we are blessed.

This custom storage unit/coat rack and bench seat is built from #2 pine (because we like the extra character in the wood) and sealed with a water resistant clear coat sparurathane.
In the summer I plan to rotate the three cubbies under the bench to fit all of the taller boots but for now it makes for easy access for the little kids snow stuff.

Sorry things have been so quiet lately. On top of getting ready to welcome a new addition, we have been steadily working on some much needed home renovation projects. One of those things was gutting and redoing the girls room. There are still a few small things left to do in there, like adding a shelf to the closet and building bookshelves and a toddler bed but for the moment the girls are pretty excited.

It measures 48" tall by 25"wide and 7.5" deep. 5 sturdy shelves. The top shelf is 7.5" tall, the three middle shelves are 8 and 3/8" and the bottom shelf is 11 and 1/4" tall. Available for pickup or local delivery.
