“Full service” means that Plum & Crimson can guide a client through the many decisions required to furnish and d

They turn to Plum & Crimson because Denise, Erika and their staff have the education, training, experience and passion for design to turn their beautiful houses into picture-perfect homes. It’s Fantastic!”

A little Saratoga inspiration woven into everyday living 🐎

This client office mixes deep moody walls, tailored window treatments, and classic furnishings with playful local touches — including this Saratoga Springs pillow that adds personality without taking the space too seriously, and art piece by Frankie Flores.

We always love incorporating pieces that tell a story about the people who live there and the places they love most.

Even the smallest rooms in a home deserve personality. For this client's powder room, we layered marble, textured wallcovering, and classic black finishes with striking horse photography to create a space that feels timeless with a nod to Saratoga’s racing tradition.

Sometimes it’s the unexpected details — like artwork in a powder room — that make a home feel thoughtful and memorable.

Belmont week calls for a little equestrian-inspired design 🐎 This client office pairs warm woods, rich leather, and layered textures with a dramatic oversized horse print by Raphael Macek that instantly becomes the focal point of the room. We love how artwork can completely shape the feeling of a space — especially when it reflects something personal to the homeowner. A home office should feel inspiring, collected, and unmistakably you.

Basement rec spaces don’t have to feel dark, unfinished, or like an afterthought.

For this client project, we wanted the lower level to feel just as inviting and designed as the rest of the home — a place where family and friends would actually want to spend time. The oversized sectional creates a comfortable gathering space, while layered lighting, textured finishes, and personal touches help the room feel warm and lived in.

The large-scale mural brings the outdoors in, and the custom details throughout give the space personality without sacrificing function. A basement can absolutely become one of the favorite rooms in the house.

For this client bathroom design, we leaned into rich blue grasscloth-inspired wallcovering paired with soft green cabinetry and crisp white surfaces to create a space that feels both fresh and sophisticated. The long double vanity keeps the room functional for everyday life, while the patterned flooring and warm metal finishes add personality and depth.

Bathrooms don’t have to feel purely practical — they can feel collected, calming, and beautifully designed too.

This lakeside guest suite was created to feel fun, relaxed, and ready for family visits after long days on the water. The layered patterns, colorful bedding, and vintage-inspired paddle wall art give the space a playful personality, while the custom bunk beds make it practical for hosting kids, cousins, and sleepovers all season long.

A guest room should feel welcoming the moment you walk in — and this one is all about cozy lake house charm.

Designed for everyday living, this client’s space blends comfort, warmth, and connection.

The open flow between the living area, dining space, and kitchen makes it easy to gather, entertain, or simply enjoy a quiet evening at home. Natural textures, warm wood tones, and window treatments help create a relaxed feel while still keeping the design polished and intentional.

We especially love how the outdoor fireplace becomes part of the view, adding even more coziness to the space.

The pieces you choose to display in your home should tell a story. For this client project, we focused on creating spaces that feel layered and personal—mixing meaningful artwork, collected treasures, books, and decorative accents in a way that feels curated rather than cluttered.

The built-in display cabinet adds both function and beauty, giving special pieces a place to truly be seen and appreciated. Thoughtful styling like this is what helps turn a beautifully designed house into a home that feels uniquely yours.

For this client’s home, the goal was simple: create a space that feels elegant without ever sacrificing comfort.

From the custom window treatments to the carefully selected furnishings, every detail was chosen to make the room feel warm, inviting, and effortlessly polished. Soft layered neutrals, subtle patterns, and timeless pieces give the space a refined look while still feeling like a place you can truly relax and live in every day.
