From blank slate to dream home office! 🥰
There are so many hours of invisible work here - three layers of wallpaper, hole patching, sanding, picture molding install, driving to pick up antique furniture, the list goes on!
Of course this still feels WAY unfinished to me (this bookshelf feels very temporary, a bigger desk is on the horizon, etc) but for now this is where I’m at and where I’ll stay for a while until just the right pieces make their way to me.
This process really does take a long time. Curating the right furniture and decor items is a process and an art. And as much as I want everything done *immediately* I know it’s best to take it slow and layer in stages.
For now, I absolutely love my home office and for those interested the color is Card Room Green by ✨

✨The Indoor Garden 🌱✨
I had the pleasure of redoing a few spaces at the Pacific College of Health & Sciences in Downtown NYC earlier this year. Here is their indoor hydroponic garden area that got a MAJOR facelift!! We added a much needed workspace, cabinets to help conceal all the mismatched pots that aren’t in use, and shift everything into a clean white and natural palette to make it feel earthy and clean. Just the right kind of zen ☺️

This space is my all-around office and craft studio, equipped with my gate leg sewing table that can shift out and expand when I need larger work surfaces. 🧵🪡

Running a small business can mean LOTS of paperwork, and I needed room to spread out! This L-shaped desk was everything I needed to help me keep things from piling up as I’m working.
