Did you know fall is actually the best time to plant pansies here in New Mexico? πΈ They love the cooler temps, and their roots get a chance to settle in nicely before winter, which means bigger, hardier blooms once spring rolls around.
A few tips to get them off to a great start:
π± Plant in a spot with good drainage and at least a few hours of sun
π± Water deeply after planting, then keep soil lightly moist (not soggy)
π± Add a layer of mulch to help regulate soil temperature as it gets colder
π± Deadhead spent blooms to keep new flowers coming
Come grab some while they're looking their best!
