*SOLD*This dresser makeover didn’t exactly go as planned… but I love how it turned out.

I sanded the top down, removed the dated trim on the front, and updated it with modern hardware for a cleaner look. The top was stained and finished with a paint wash to create a soft, modern finish with just the right amount of warmth.

The body is painted in one of my favorite colors — a rich army green that feels both classic and modern.

This beautiful solid oak table came to us with its original orange-toned finish and 43 years of memories. Our goal was to give it a fresh, modern look while honoring the character that makes older pieces so special.

We transformed it with a soft cream painted base, carefully distressed to highlight all the gorgeous details, and a custom mixed stain with a subtle paint wash on the top for that light, neutral, airy feel everyone loves right now. It’s all sealed with a durable protective topcoat so it’s ready for decades more family dinners, holidays, and everyday moments.

Forty-three years later… and now it’s ready for 40+ more. ❤️
