The tub was in rough shape and had what we call a “birdbath”—a low spot where water pools, leading to rust and corrosion over time.

I had a customer call me from Buffalo. I was pretty happy thinking New York, but apparently there’s a Buffalo Oklahoma. They had a washbasin sink from a 1920’s house, one of the only things in the house they really wanted to keep. She also wanted to know if I could make a few of the holes disappear. ✨ Before & After Transformation! ✨
This is one of those projects where pictures just don’t do it justice. You have to zoom in to see the dramatic difference.

Our customer had remodeled every room in her 1950s home—except the bathroom. She wanted to refresh the space without the cost of a full gut renovation. The sink had been previously reglazed, but the coating was chipping and peeling. There was a thick, messy line of glue in the corners, and the original drain was so deteriorated it had to be cut out.

At first, she planned to have the sink reglazed again. But after stripping away the old paint, we discovered the original sink was in amazing condition underneath. All it needed was a deep clean and a good polish!

Sometimes restoration is better than replacement—and this was one of those wins. 💪🛁
