Are you aware that a single female cat can give birth to about 12 kittens annually? Or that a feral cat colony can range from two to over 200 cats? To put it in perspective, if a female cat lives for 12 to 14 years, she could potentially have 96 to 210 kittens! San Saba County Friends of Animals played a crucial role in spaying or neutering 146 cats in 2023 alone. This translates to controlling approximately 29,000 cats in 2023 alone! Our TNR (Trap, Neuter, Release) program is highly effective and saves lives. Currently, we have a waitlist with over 85 cats in need. We need your support!
