The Two Toned Affair :
This Drexel tallboy was a beauty to begin with, but those architectural lines and recessed cane pulls were begging for more definition. By choosing a deep, chocolatey charcoal for the frame and keeping the drawer faces in their original warm wood, the “picture frame” molding finally pops.
It’s the perfect balance of Mediterranean soul and Mid-Century Modern structure. This “Two-Toned Affair” is officially reimagined and ready for its next chapter.
I’m leaning into more high-contrast finishes lately—are you a fan of the two-tone look, or do you prefer the classic all-wood vibe? Let’s chat in the comments! 👇
