A New Chapter

After 28 years in business, it is with a mix of great nostalgia, gratitude and tremendous excitement for the future, that we announce that Zinc Details will be closing it's retail store doors as of May 1, 2018.

Over the years, from our tiny shop at 906 Post Street in the Tenderloin, to the Zinc swing shop at Macy's Union Square, to our Fourth St store in Berkeley, to the wholesale business and trade show exhibitions in NYC, to our stores on California Street and Fillmore Street in Pacific Heights, we have met countless customers, employees, vendors, retailers and friends. We wish you all a heartfelt thank you for your years of patronage and friendship. We feel fortunate to have so many great memories of all of our years in business.

Although we will no longer have a physical space, you can still visit us on the cloud at www.zincdetails.com for your design fix or just to say hello! We'll also be doing periodic pop ups at design shows and fairs. Stay tuned!

Vas Kiniris, who has been vice president, president and now executive director of the Fillmore Merchants Association, intends to devote himself fully to small business affairs in San Francisco. In addition, he has recently become executive director of the West Portal Merchants Association and executive administrator of the citywide SF Council District of Merchants Associations.
