A KITCHEN REMODEL THAT KEEPS GIVING!

When remodeling your kitchen, Pacific Kitchens encourages our customers to consider donating their newer or gently used items such as sinks, appliances, doors and hardware to Habitat for Humanity. Most likely you will want to update all or some of your appliances and now you can rest assure that these items will go to a good cause.

Habitat programs are focused on creating homes for ownership by low-income families in need, offering a hand up, not a handout.

Habitat homes are built with donations of money, materials and labor. Since 1988, SDHFH has built over 200 homes throughout San Diego County, serving 900 men, women and children, with the support of nearly 200,000 volunteers and generous corporate and government partners.

Your donations help future Habitat for Humanity homeowners build and buy their own homes, keep reusable goods out of local landfills, and are tax-deductible.

HOW TO HIRE THE RIGHT KITCHEN COMPANY

There are a few things you should do before hiring a company for your kitchen remodeling. Check their reviews. They should have many 5 star reviews from places such as Yelp or Angies List. Confirm they have a California Contractor's License in good standing, and able to do Cabinetry and Millwork, which is a C-6 license. It is important that you confirm this at cslb.ca.gov. Verify that the company has liability insurance and workers compensation insurance. Are they a member of the Better Business Bureau and do they have an excellent rating? Are they a member of NKBA (National Kitchen & Bath Association)?

Do they have a Showroom? This is extremely important as it indicates stability, credibility, professionalism as well as the quality of their work. Most importantly, it indicates their commitment to their business and that they are in it for the long haul should you have any warranty issues and will be around to complete the job. Why they are awesome:
The price they quoted, was the price they charged.
They actually finished the work in the time they estimated.
Their quality control is amazing.
I wanted some non-standard stuff (extra shelving built and stuff like that) and they didn't even blink. They just worked it out.
I wish these people worked on all parts of the house. If I could hire them for every single job, I would be ecstatic.
I would 150% hire them again. Their schedule tends to be a bit booked, but it's totally worth the wait.

They completely refaced our cabinets and the quality of the woods and painting job is top notch! Sean and Rick were our craftsmen and they were so good and precise and made sure we got what we wanted. They even came back when later we changed our minds and wanted a couple little things changed. We wanted to add glass cabinets between the top of cabinets and ceiling, and the design they did was on point!! Now, we have decorative vases in it and looks even nicer. We got the Torquay quartz counter top and looks so elegant! Our used to be brown kitchen is now the bright, vibrant elegant one! We are so happy! Thank you PK for such an excellent job! You exceeded our expectations!

Pacific Kitchens just finished my kitchen cabinet re-face and I'm over the moon with the results. Professional and friendly from the get-go, no pressure sales, advice on style and color, and then Glen, my installer....WOW! He is a true craftsman. Always right on time, meticulous in his work, cleaned up beautifully every day. Their time estimate for the job was exact. I could not be happier with this company from beginning to end!

Save your existing countertop when you reface! With a complete
tearout, your countertops have to be removed. Just one of many reasons why refacing should be considered before ripping out your existing kitchen.
