Redwood boxes. The story behind these boxes is the reason I took the job. A woman came to me with a request for a box for each of her 3 sisters and one for her. She already had the wood. It came from her childhood home. A home that her father had built. This is from a place of memories. She could still remember the smell of the redwood in the room she played in. I think I captured the feeling of joy because after a few weeks she sent me some corespondents between her and her sisters showing how much they loved this piece of growing up made new.
