Just spending some time on Friday finishing up the back of my chair with some hand stitching. Also, looking at this picture I have realized I sit on the ground way too much for someone who reupholsters furniture but that probably won’t change! Now that I’m home I am finishing up dining chairs that go home this week.

One week in San Diego for professional development is coming to an end. What an exceptional time learning from the best in the trade and having access to them for all of my questions; I had a lot! Thank you to Louise at for all of the work you put in to make this all possible!

Finally remembering to post my summer stuff! Here is a fun redo for the elementary school library that I did just in time for their open house! It was a blast working with bright fabrics of all different colors! I don’t get to give back as much as I would like too because of time constraints but this was an easy way to donate to a great cause and feel good that hundreds of kids will get to read on these chairs and couches! 📚

First corporate work space install is complete! Four benches and my first larger scale project working with vinyl. This project made me want to upholster all the walls in my house like this! Beautiful and cushy! My hubs helped install and my parents helped me problem solve when a few issues popped up, as they always do for most every job.
