My favorite wife and I just finished day two of this years Texas Open Fire Meat Up in Hondo Tx. Pitmasters from around the world cooking meat dishes that were unbelievably delicious. This was the inspiration I needed for a new project I've been collecting parts for for some time now. Right now we are preparing for the Redbud Artisan Market in Fredericksburg December 12th and 13th at the Marketplaz pavillions. So mark your calendars and come see us there!😁
But after the new year I'm planning to start building a Argentine style open fire grill similair to the ones in the first four pictures. I'm still looking for a few things, but mostly steel plate in either ¼, ⁵/16 or ⅜ inches thick. A 40"×40" piece would be perfect but other sizes could be put to use as well. So look around and see what you may have. Anyone helping with materials will get an invite to the first cook!😁
