I am a family man, with roots in the tradition of self reliance. In the morning, I button my flannel and grow more beard; just a real man making real good furniture. I do not strive to be rich, but yearn to provide quality in all things I do. The success of my business does not lean on high volume sales but on having time to devote to designing and creating challenging pieces. My pleasant ambition is to build unique, beautiful things that will be loved and reliable.

Just got some photos back from the great who shoots film like a boss. Dresser I built with 12 drawers. When each drawer take 5 hours to build, sand and fit with wood slides I'm pretty much over it after the 4th one.

I made these two door panels a few years back with a hand plane and the right arm and ferocity of a younger man. It took some time but the cabinet turned out to be one of my favorite pieces too bad I never took any photos of it.
