Starting to cut the clock face today! I used to manually cut and place all the numbers and dashes and it would take HOURS. This takes, with bit changes and taking my sweet time, 30 minutes. Game changer.

Building a walnut clock for a customer this week and wanted to share a couple progress shots. This one is in the final stretch—face gets carved and painted next, then a few hours of finish prep to bring everything together.

Cabinets out, floor down, and cabinets back in. I felt pretty accomplished until I saw that the before/after are almost the same…

Interior work is underway. The first row over the self-leveler fought me a bit, but the next went in smooth. At this point, moving everything around might take longer than laying the floor—running out of storage fast!

3 of the 4 sides of the exterior are done. These sides were the most problematic for water issues so I’m glad they’re done. Also poured some extra support under one corner where uncontrolled water had washed it out. Interior is next!
