There was a time when many of the people behind this award never imagined they’d be part of building something this remarkable.

The people we’ve helped over the years are what fuel us. Whether it’s a student at The Other Side Academy finding purpose and confidence through meaningful work, a donor realizing their unwanted items can change lives, or a customer walking into our store for the first time and becoming part of our community, every interaction matters. To think that a business built and operated by people with backgrounds like ours has become a seven-time Best of SLC winner is nothing short of remarkable. This award belongs to every student, staff member, donor, shopper, and supporter who has believed in second chances. Thank you for helping us build something bigger than a thrift store.
