For those of you that knew me prior to 2015, I’m sorry about the version of the broken girl/woman you knew. Praise the Lord though, in the darkest time of my life, He was there and welcomed me back, thankful the prodigal daughter had returned.

Lord I’m sorry for my sins that held you to the cross, but I am eternally grateful for your redemption. While I’m in another season of unknown outcomes, I will still have joy. If you want to know this radical changing power, just ask Him.

Boy oh boy did this one make me WORK for it 😮‍💨 But y’all, check him out now. Painted in a custom mixed deep green using Wise Owl Paint One Hour Enamel, top and base restained using Rust-Oleum gel stain and sealed with multiple coats of satin Varathane polyurethane. New aged brass hardware, waxed slides leading to perfectly gliding drawers, and insides conditioned with Howard Products, Inc. Feed N Wax.

This piece blends timeless craftsmanship with a modern designer look and would work beautifully in a bedroom, entryway, dining room, or as a media console.

Details matter. Does everyone that “flips” furniture do it? No. *I don’t consider myself a “flipper”* But if you’re going to spend your hard earned money with my business I want your piece to look as good, or better, than it came off the factory floor.

Side note- this is not a superiority post. I am not saying if someone didn’t do this that their makeover is inferior, just that it matters to me.

To those that thought my last clip of paint coming off with a light scratch after a week of sitting was because I didn’t let it cure (yes, I know what cure time is) and I just needed to wait, this is after an HOUR. One 👏🏽 hour 👏🏽 This friends is what good adhesion looks like. If I’m putting my name on something I will have no doubts about the finish and if it’ll hold up.

Take 3, coat 1(different primer AND paint)…here’s to hoping and praying the 3rd time is the charm 🍀🤞🏽💚🙏

If you have anything you love to do and have been doing it any amount of time, you’ll have instances where things go wrong. And because I like to be real, this is one of those times.
