At this stage of the build you can see me getting the panels of the night stand ready for assembly. The first step is where I am trimming them to size with the track saw, then using the domino joiner to get that joint ready for glue up!

In this video you can see me starting the process by milling rough cut lumber and gluing panels for the night stand together. For this project I'm using cherry wood.

This beautiful walnut slab is getting milled down and transformed into a kitchen table for a customer. We mill all of our own lumber to create our handcrafted pieces.
We offer slab flattening services as well if anyone is in need!

Customer needed a custom sink to fit into their half bath. We designed, built, and Installed one to match the aesthetic of their home and decor.

Our Trim restoration customer decided they wanted to remove french doors separating the living room from their new kitchen to give a more open feel to their home. After I removed the doors, this is the process to patch the hinge mortises and prepare for painting.

Meet Matt & Haley

We began our journey of starting a woodworking business in 2024, where we started off as just a hobby building custom pieces for family and close friends, when we quickly realized that our dreams extended beyond just that; we also dreamed of building a successful business we could one day manage as a growing family. We started off set up in our garage-turned-workshop, where we spent several late nights sanding, chiseling, and shaping wood into stunning creations, all while discussing Starting a family and what the future holds.

Our shared passion for our dream strengthened the bond we shared, and each completed project became a testament of our love and teamwork. Balancing late-night work sessions with getting prepared for the little one on the way was no easy task, but we thrived on the excitement of blending our professional ambitions with family dreams. With sawdust floating in the air and laughter echoing in the home, we not only constructed beautiful pieces but also a solid foundation for the future. Mortise & Tenon Co. was born from a love for woodworking and a dream of what it could bring our family.
