It is with heavy hearts that we share the passing of a true pillar at Lynch’s Furniture. My beloved Grandpa, Vic Lynch, passed away peacefully last night at the age of 93 1/2.

As the second generation of Lynch’s, Vic didn’t just sell furniture; he built relationships that lasted decades. He was the heart of this store for so many years, teaching us that a business is only as strong as the community it serves. Whether you knew him from a handshake in the store or he was looking at a “trade in” at your home, you knew a man of kindness and hard work.

We will miss his corky Christmas gifts, his phone calls identifying himself as Vic Lynch (even when calling me!), his help in knowing exactly who to call when I needed help fixing something at the store, and his presence dearly, but I am so proud to carry on the legacy he helped build.
