The other day my Marketing Director asked me why I design each room in a home differently! 🤔

I do this because each room does call for a different approach.

This approach depends on so many different things! Like who will the room be designed for, how much available space is in the room, how much natural light does the room get, etc. ✨

This may sound odd but when I walk into a room that I will be redesigning I analyze all of these attributes in a way where I feel like the room is talking to me. So I take note and turn it into the perfect space! 🥰

Just like with my new kitchen, you’ll see that it needed a serious facelift! So, I tore a down a wall and it’s already completely reinvented my approach to the space!

When I approach designs for a child’s rooms I have 3 things in mind…

Reduced clutter, improved concentration, and enhanced creativity. ✨

Natural lighting is so important for a healthy space! 🥰

The kitchen in my home only had one good source of natural light, but it was being blocked by a wall. This separated the cooking area from the dining room and made the whole space completely dark and dysfunctional.

So, what did I do? I tore that wall down! 🔨💥

Now you can see how much brighter and spacious the room is by allowing the source of natural light to flood in and light the entire space!

I have other wonderful tips that I am excited to make videos about in the future on how to utilize natural light as well as accent lights to beautifully enhance any space! ✨
