Well… here’s the announcement I promised.
After many years of working alongside Kennedy Brothers Auctions, Heather and I are excited to be stepping into the next chapter of Kennedy Brothers.
Blake and Brett aren’t exactly going anywhere — they’re just ready to step back from the day-to-day leadership and enjoy some of the things they’ve worked so hard for.
Blake plans to spend more time traveling while continuing with appraisals and consulting, and Brett will have more time to pursue his passion for real estate and travel with his newly retired wife. They’ll both still be around as we make the transition, which means a lot to Heather and me.
I’ve worked with these guys for many years, learned a tremendous amount from them, and I’m grateful for the trust they’ve placed in us to help carry Kennedy Brothers forward.
Kennedy Brothers isn’t going anywhere. The name stays, the auctions keep rolling, and our goal is to build on nearly 30 years of reputation while bringing some new energy and ideas into the next chapter.
And there’s no waiting around — our October 13 auction is already filling up, with plenty more still to come.
Take a look at what’s already up for bid at www.forauctionsales.com
And going forward, you may be seeing a lot more of Heather and me — and probably Scout too — showing you some of the unusual, rare and sometimes downright crazy things that find their way through those doors.
Because at Kennedy Brothers…
You never know what just walked in.
We’re excited about what’s ahead, and we hope you’ll come along for the ride.
