Although I’ve determined that I need a new dado stack, it’s been a good day in the shop. I purchased some poplar to do the repairs on the chest, they are attached and primed. Ready for paint tomorrow, and install the cedar lining next week.

On the bench for the next few weeks is a project I’ve been looking forward to for several yrs now. Repairing and repurposing my grandfather’s tool chest. We figure it’s a tad over 100 yrs old. He was born in 1897 and was a Master Carpenter.
