Part 1 of the Minnick Mansion reno is cruising right along. The temp wall is down, the new fireplace is framed and paint is done, but we'll get back to that because I couldn't resist showing off these floors!

Part 1 of my non-intentional secret: the Minnick Mansion is getting a face-lift. Like, major.

I'm expanding the kitchen, living and dining room into the backyard, which means new cabinets, new flooring, new stucco (and of course, new stone), a new fireplace and a new guest bedroom and bath. Because why the hell not?! I'm already tackling the rest of the main floor, so I may as well just really do it all, right?!

Stay tuned to see all the details, my plan for putting it back together, and whether or not my family and I survive living here while it all goes down. We may or may not be a little looney 🤪

15 years of doing this for other people and I'm FINALLY rewarding myself with an update of my own. It feels too good to be true!
