How It All Began
This all started because I asked my parents if they knew somewhere I could get a job ... at the age of 13. My parents told me that most businesses don't hire that young and I would probably need to do something on my own. A few days later, my dad had the idea that we try making co****le sets to sell. I had a little experience helping him build some outdoor furniture and cutting boards in the past, we had most of the tools needed and I knew I didn't mind the work. We watched a few videos, looked at some plans and gathered our supplies. A few days later, we had finished and sold 2 sets. We immediately started 5 more sets and sold out before they were complete. Through this process I am not only learning craftsmanship skills, but also expense tracking, profiting and reinvesting, marketing, communication and other aspects of business. I am enjoying learning and working alongside my dad. My younger brothers are helping in the projects as well and will be working right along side of us in no time. FOR OUR FUTURE.
