After a SEVERAL month hiatus (due to the fact you can’t paint in cold or high humidity) I am just now getting back into refinishing furniture! Found this baby on the side of the road in west branch and thought it was too cool of a MCM piece to go to the trash! It’s missing a drawer so I’m thinking maybe making a small shelf ??? Not sure yet, but comment any cool ideas you have on what I should do with the open space.

I have almost an entire garage full of furniture… should I have picked this up, no. Have I told Chris I added another piece of furniture to my collection , also no. But here we are 🤪

Excited to create again!!!!

Just finished tonight and have poor lighting- so more photos to come.
This desk was a pain in the butt to work on. This was the first thing I bought thinking it would be easy and this has been extremely time consuming (steep learning curve). I was going for a mid century modern vibe and did the best I could 🤪

Picked this piece up today from the nicest couple in Bay City (for free)! I’m honestly not sure what I want to do with this yet- maybe a bar situation or coffee nook??? My favorite piece I have picked up so far-
The sweetest family sold this piece (originally $50 but sold to me for $20 since we helped move a heavy couch out of their home). My goal is to basically spruce this one up a bit and maybe stain it a lighter color. It’s a beautiful vintage piece and only took 4 people to move (lol) 🙃
