140+ year old yellow pine. It likely started growing around the time our 20th president, James Garfield was assasinated. Wow did the world change while this tree grew! Standing over 100’ tall was rapidly passing its prime and becoming a danger to the neighborhood. It can now live another 140 years or more as fine old growth lumber. Weight is about 2800 lbs and should yield over 400 bd ft of lumber!

Waiting on bandsaw parts. Time to break out some other saws.
