I’m finally back in my shop making sawdust!
What a great feeling!
I was asked to post some pictures of the table I had just finished but was lost in the fire.
This is the 2nd attempt!
It is made from Adirondack black cherry harvested from a wood lot in Degrass NY.
It is built from one tree!
The top is 12’ long and is 1 1/2” thick and has a “ live edge “ finish. And can seat 14 people.

Merry Christmas to all my followers and there families. My new shop is almost ready to let the sawdust fly again!! I can’t wait!!

Had quit a set back yesterday, I lost my shop to a fire! went in to have a cup of coffee with my wife at 3:30 and it was gone by 5:00. With sticks, branches, yellow birch root-bases and kiln-dried lumber everywhere... there was no stopping it. I had 7 projects that were done or in the final stages of being finished.... that is a hard to swallow for me, hours, days and weeks of labor lost...
On the bright side, my family is all safe and our log home that sits 10' from the burnt structure was saved!
I really appreciate all the support I have gotten over the years, and God willing I will be able to rebuild and continue to build my little creations. So my site will be quiet for a time, Thank you all and I WILL be back!!

I've been commissioned to build a 12 ft cherry table so I thought I'd share a couple "in progress" photos with you. It will easily seat 14! I look forward to sharing the finished piece.

Thought I'd share a couple pictures of a bathroom vanity I'll be installing Saturday. The top is a 3" slice of yellow birch, base is cedar.
