Beautiful Empire Style Chest RELoved into a freestanding kitchen island. Solid wood, very sturdy, plenty of storage and original caster wheels on the feeties and top drawer.
All the dings and beauty marks in the top and back have been sanded and polished buttery smooth. Sides, legs and inside body is new black paint and scratch resistant topcoat

Every square inch has been RELoved and all the drawers slide great. And before any of yā€™all come at me for painting the Drew Chest he was already painted by somebody in a former life and my mojo is currently too low for a
refinish and my shop is too full from people who wonā€™t pick up their stuff. Sometimes it be like that.
Wouldnā€™t you love to give them a new home sweet home šŸ together ?

More RELoved plunder from my hometown (Iā¤ļømountsterling)!
This sweet little Lane Cedar Chest with a production date of August 15th 1966 was left by a Momma to a Daughter and just needed a little lovinā€™ and sweet talkinā€™. Sheā€™s all exfoliated (lol) and shined up now and her joints are all tightened up with new smooth feet and fresh smellinā€™. She already had the inspiration I just listened close.
Helping keep pieces in the family is one of my favorite happy places šŸ’›ā˜€ļø
