Schmutzy Sunday! - The “unglamorous” side of the antiques/furniture game!
Things I literally said this weekend while finishing projects for next Sunday’s SIDEWALK SALE at the She Shed-
“Can you pre-wash the schmutz off of these Ball jars with the power washer?”
“Look at all of the nails, staples, and hardware I pulled out of the inside of that cabinet!”
“Can you power wash all the bird p**p off of that bench for me?”
“These are not tan lines on my feet- they’re dirt lines!”

Then we cleaned up and went to Schwartz’s Supper Club for a relaxing dinner! Well deserved!

Furniture day!!! Even though it was “steamy and sticky” we didn’t let it stop us from getting our work done! (Do you know what movie that was from?!)
Matt was power washing while I was painting! We’re a great team!!

I started collecting white enamelware about 40 years ago. It was fairly inexpensive and I could afford it! After 40 years, I have graduated to antique baskets, not that I can afford them, but I love them!
