We spend a lot of time telling people to look down. This time, look up. 👀

Yes, we installed flooring on the ceiling! The rich wood tones bring warmth overhead, highlighting the ceiling’s angles and complementing the exposed brick and classic furniture.

It’s a beautiful reminder to consider every surface when designing a room. Your ceiling offers another place to add texture, character, and a detail people will remember.

Would you bring this look into your home?

A soaking tub, a separate shower, and a chandelier. Your wish list doesn’t have to come with 300+ square feet. ✨

Even around 100 square feet can feel luxurious with a thoughtful layout, beautiful tile, and lighting that makes the room feel special.

The key is choosing pieces that fit the space and giving every detail a purpose. Room to unwind, a little sparkle overhead, and finishes you love can make a smaller bathroom feel like your own retreat.

Save this for your bathroom remodel inspiration.

Updating the carpet on your stairs brings texture, personality, and comfort to a part of your home you use every day. A distinctive pattern can turn that everyday walkway into a design feature, connecting the look of your upstairs and downstairs.

The benefits go beyond appearance. Carpet softens footsteps, helps quiet the sound of people moving between floors, and adds traction compared with a bare, smooth surface. The right pattern can also help disguise everyday wear between cleanings.

This unique patterned Karastan carpet gives the staircase its own moment while making every trip up and down a little more comfortable.

Save this for your next home refresh, and visit our Round Rock showroom to explore a pattern you’ll love.

Why do so many home theaters have carpet?

It does more than make the room feel cozy. Carpet softens footsteps and reduces sound bouncing off the floor, which matters when the whole room is designed for watching and listening.

For this theater, the choice also shapes the experience. The burgundy and gold pattern brings the drama of a classic cinema into the room, while the dark base feels at home alongside the black seating and richly colored walls.

Planning a theater of your own? Choose the flooring alongside your lighting, seating, and wall colors. See a sample in the room with the lights on and dimmed before committing to the full installation.

Save this as a reminder that your theater flooring should look good in the room and support how you’ll use it.

The smallest room in the house can have the most personality.

For this powder bath in Round Rock’s Oaklands neighborhood, we installed "Just a Dew Drops" by Alysedwards in a star and cross pattern. The soft blue color keeps the space calm, while the repeating shapes give you something to notice every time you walk in.

A powder bath is a great place to make a more expressive flooring choice. The floor becomes part of the room’s character, even when there’s little space for anything else.

What do you think of a patterned tile in a small room?

Ever wonder why your floors look like they’re changing color?

Watch the floor as the camera moves through this room. It’s the same flooring throughout, but daylight, shadows, and the surrounding paint make it look warmer in some spots and cooler in others.

That’s why choosing a floor from a showroom sample alone can be tricky. Before you commit, bring the sample home and:

☀️ Look at it in morning and afternoon light
💡 Check it with your lamps on at night
🎨 Hold it next to your walls, cabinets, and furniture
🚶 Move it around the rooms where it’ll be installed

At Soleil Floors, we help you see how a material works in your home before it goes across the whole floor. Save this for the next time you’re choosing flooring, or send it to someone who’s deciding between samples.

This bar niche was designed with Tesoro Lance Picket wall tile, and its reflective finish completely changes the moment. As the light moves across the tile, it creates a subtle shimmer that adds depth, dimension, and a little drama to the bar.

The picket shape brings movement, while the reflection makes the niche feel brighter and more prominent within the room. It’s proof that a small surface can still become the star of the entire design.

Would you add a reflective tile moment to your home? Save this one for your future bar, coffee station, or built-in niche.

The keys were theirs. Now it was time to make the home feel like it, too.

Before settling in, these new homeowners in Austin, Texas, chose to create a space that felt personal from the very beginning.

New lighting brightened every room, hardwood floors and fresh interior paint brought the entire vision together.

Taking on a whole-home redesign is a big leap, but doing it anyway is often how the best transformations begin.

You don’t need to know exactly what flooring you want before visiting our showroom. That’s what we’re here to help with.

Start by thinking about a few simple questions:

• What do you want the room to feel like?
• Do you prefer warm, natural wood tones or something lighter and more modern?
• Will the floors need to handle kids, pets, or heavy foot traffic?
• How much maintenance feels realistic for your lifestyle?
• Are you replacing floors in one room or creating a continuous look throughout your home?
• What budget range feels comfortable?

Bring us your answers, inspiration photos, or even a vague idea. Stephanie and the Soleil Floors team will walk you through the materials, price points, and pros and cons until you find an option that feels right for your home.

Visit our Round Rock showroom and let’s talk through your vision together.
