Chairs are my love language! I make them and teach others how to do it, too with my online course! One way to give back is to repurpose old and new chairs.

And I’m so excited to show you my summer party get together article! There are so many good little nuggets in this article including a really great barbecue sandwich recipe. I don’t talk enough about this dining space, do I?

Let me just say that the art is all my daughters, and there’s four different Frida faces, one on each backside. I painted the chairs, red, something I rarely do, but I thought for a cabin, it would be fun! And then there’s that table, which originally is an entryway type of table, but I made it a bit taller and turned it into my dining table. And how about that cute chandelier, it really is vintage and I had it rewired. With the checked cafe curtains behind it and my wallpaper fridge on the other side, it’s a really happy space!

Welcome to my closet/office! It’s a tiny bedroom, but since I don’t have any closets at all in our cabin, it seemed reasonable to make this space a closet. Plus I also needed an office space to work. And how many guests are we really ever gonna have at one time anyway? We already have a guest room. I’m thinking about wallpapering the walls though, let me know what you think! Should I do it?

Did you happen to catch these game room chairs that are now in my living room back home as of a couple weeks ago? And did you see the little trim that I put on the bottom?

There was quite a debate about whether to do gingham or a scallop. I love both and it was really hard to decide. But the scallop won! And really that’s all these chairs needed to bring a little personality to them. The gallery wall is so busy that this works the best. Let me know what you think!

Hands-down, my favorite space in my cabin is my kitchen area…It’s part of the bigger room. I have my round table 4 chairs as well as the little island that I made from a tool bench. I put a skirt on it, and it holds a lot of my things. I even store things underneath! But I love all the little features and wall hangings, many of them I got it antique malls and Facebook marketplace. And of course there’s the wallpaper refrigerator! Ask me about it!

This piece makes this room…It was the final cherry on top! It has all the colors and the whimsy that I wanted to bring to my living room. I found it by scrolling on Pinterest one day.
