This piece started out beyond rough. To most it might have been the end of the road for it. It was missing a top and the back board had fallen off. It also had so much veneer damage.

Put it back together as best as possible some veneer glued back down some bono, added a new top and reinstalled the original back board. Once it was close to being functional I painted away and quickly realized this piece needed more help.

I’ve added a beautiful transfer that helped camouflage some imperfections but also added whimsy and beauty.

It’s far from perfect but it certainly is ready for more life. As we all are.

This dresser received a well deserved makeover. Once a shabby chic beauty a decade ago it just needed it was time for another tweak. Lots of work went into rebuilding the inside and a couple redesigns such as new legs and shell removal bright this dresser to contemporary stage. She is ready for her new home.
