We see many flooded homes due to folks leaving their garden hoses attached to the outside faucet. Especially with the frost free type as it freezes inside the wall, you won't notice a burst pipe until the next time you use that faucet. Disconnect your hoses!

Commercial carpet in a restaurant, after cleaning we run a cotton bonnet attached to a low speed floor buffer. This is the correct way to clean commercial carpet and stops any spills from wicking back to the surface after cleaning.

Upper and lower ball joints replaced, check. New front brake assemblies, check. Front wheel bearings repacked, New seals, check. Tires rotated, check. Van spit shined, test drive completed and ready for a front end alignment, check. Thankful I am able to do all of the above and save a ton of money, check!! Ready for a busy week.

If at all possible it's a good idea to move your furniture around a little to avoid a severe wear pattern in front of a chair or couch. Even if it's moved forward or back a little, once the wear gets to a certain point the carpet most likely will not recover after cleaning. It can also change a wear pattern due to continuous traffic wear in the same area.

Flooded office building, toilet supply line broke, four inches of water by the time someone came in to open for the day. Huge mess, wet in some places eight inches up the wall. The supply line was stainless steel but the plastic end snapped off where it connects to the toilet. These and other supply lines should be checked and/or replaced periodically to try and avoid this. Including washing machines, hot water heaters etc.

This carpet cleaning unit is 12 years old with 7100 hours on it. Not hardly a scratch on it and still heats to 270 degrees like it did when it was new. We care about doing a great job for our customers every day, every time, every job.

This is a sample of the patches and an actual card that a certified carpet cleaner should have. They are given out by the IICRC when a technician has taken and passed a certified course in that area. Not all technicians wear the patches but are required to carry the card while cleaning. There are many businesses using the IICRC logo that are NOT certified. Ask to see the card to know for sure. You can also search for certified cleaners at IICRC.org. it means they have paid the money and taken the time to take courses and done continuing education to stay in touch with the newest methods of cleaning. Karla is master certified, not very many women cleaners are.
