Just this weekend I finished re-upholstering these semi-truck seats for a wonderful customer of mine Tyler owner of Tyler Picknell Trucking of Roseburg Oregon.
I upholstered these low back bucket seats using Naugahyde RU900 Rogue Flint light gray colored vinyl along with a Peterbuilt light gray fabric on the inserts with sewn in singe stitch large diamonds. I also added 1” of memory foam on the seats to add that extra touch comfort for the drivers.

I have been making lots of Diamonds lately.. that is sewing lots of diamonds into seats and door panels completed the front & rear seats along with the door panels, rear side panels and sun visors using a heavy duty Cheyenne rustic, artisan leather looking green pine needle color vinyl from my supplier Keyston Bros on this 1974 Dodge Charger for a wonderful customer of mine. Thanks for the opportunity Mike.

I fully agree with Adam Savage with his thoughts on sewing!

I recently took my 2006 Chevy Silverado to a local shop Gene’s Brake and Alignment to have a Bell Tech lowering kit installed (2” drop in the front and 4” in the rear), and I couldn't be more impressed with the results.
Lowering a truck the right way requires a lot more than just swapping parts—it takes a shop that understands suspension geometry and precision alignment. Owners Gene and Paul run a top-notch operation, and it’s clear they prioritize quality and customer satisfaction above all else.
A huge shoutout to Tyler, who did the majority of the install. Their attention to detail was incredible. They didn't just "bolt it on"; they ensured everything was torqued to spec and perfectly dialed in. The stance is exactly what I was looking for, and thanks to their expertise, the truck now handles beautifully and the alignment is spot on.
It’s rare to find a shop where you feel this confident leaving your keys. Huge thanks to the whole crew for treating my truck with such care. If you’re in the Roseburg area and need specialized suspension work or a complex lowering kit installed, Gene’s is the only place to go.
Next up is a new Flowmaster muffler and a set of custom dual exhaust pipes and stainless steel just behind the rear wheels. Coming soon.
Highly recommended for their expertise, honesty, and the top-tier craftsmanship provided by Gene, Paul, and Tyler!
Let me know what you think?

I have completed reupholstering the front low back bucket seats and rear bench seat from a 1966 Ford Mustang. The process involved stripping them down to the metal frames, sandblasting, priming, and painting the frames. Subsequently, I added and replaced new foam and Re*****on black vinyl from Keyston Bros., stitching all horizontal and vertical pleats with high-contrast, bright pink thread. The outcome was exceptional, and the customer expressed great satisfaction with the work.

Got a set of 1966 Ford Mustang seats and then recovered using Re*****on crow black vinyl with high contrast bright pink thread. Turned out awesome!

I recently had Steve Simpson owner of Cosmetic Automotive Reconditioning in Roseburg, OR, work on my new/used 2006 Chevy Silverado truck, and I couldn't be more pleased! Steve uses precision metal sculpting to remove imperfections through controlled pressure manipulation. His use of specialized LED lighting allowed him to see even the slightest flaws, and he truly made the panels look brand new again.

If you need paintless dent removal, bumper repair/refinishing, scratch repairs, headlight restoration, or paint touch-ups, give him a call 541-580-0126. It was a highly cost-effective restoration with flawless results!

The reupholstering of these low back semi seats was a new experience, involving the addition of 1 inch of memory foam to the original seat foam's top side. Our customer chose to incorporate diamond stitching into the fabric inserts, complemented by an attractive blue leather grain vinyl. I appreciated the experience and extend my gratitude to Tyler.
