We're building boats this spring, a replica of a 1939 Chris Craft Barrel Back from Glen-L plans, a couple strip canoes and kayaks and restoring a early '50's model Lyman 15' Rear Steer runabout. Last week Josh and I pulled it out of a barn where it has spent the last thirty years of its life, today I started cleaning it up to see what needs to be addressed with the hull. Amazing what difference a little cleaning can acomplish.

Well, I finally have broken ground on the new A.C. shop, much larger than what I've been using. It'll allow me to expand back into building cabinets and furniture as well as wood strip canoes and the replica Chris Craft mahogany runabout I've wanted to do for years. I started lofting the frames from the plans I ordered from Glen-L last year and have a lot of the wood milled and dried for the frame already. I'll be posting a video series on www.youtube.com/c/austringercreations titled "Building Vingilótë" soon.

I finally got around to working on the website, I closed a few broken links and changed some of the formatting. I still need to rebuild some of the deep pages like the photo galleries and fix the broken links to them and I still need to build the eCommerce site for my online sales but it'll take longer for me to sort through my stock on hand and make photos and discriptions than to get them into my online shop. Maybe I can get those in within the next week, it doesn't look like I'll be working very many shows this year so I may have to rely on online sales to move my stock.

Anyway, check out the website and let me know what you think. CONSTRUCTIVE criticism will be appreciated.
