Heritage Sleep Concepts Heritage Sleep Concepts is a 5th generation, family-owned mattress manufacturer dedicated to quality, craftsmanship, and innovation.

Proudly made in Rome, Georgia Heritage Sleep Concepts began four generations ago as Sanford Mattress Company in Rome, Georgia in the 1930's. In 1973, Terry and Glenda Spears, the son-in-law and daughter of Mr. Sanford, began The Spears Mattress Company. As the original licensee of Englander Sleep products in 1986, Terry and his 2 brothers continued to grow the company. Also in the 80's, Terry and

Glenda's two daughters, Robin and Kristi, began working in the company. They were joined in both operations and sales by Barry Simpson and Frankie Beck, the husbands of Robin and Kristi. The company continued to grow to be the largest independent mattress manufacturer in the southeast. In 2008, the company was sold to a private equity firm from New York and Terry and Glenda retired after Terry had served several years as Chairman. Several of the family members went to work for the new stockholders. In December of 2014, Terry decided to return to the business he had a passion for. In January of 2015, Terry and Glenda, along with the Simpsons and the Becks, met with the President and CEO of Eastman House and Eclipse to become the licensed manufacturer for 5 Southeastern states. Heritage Sleep Concepts, LLC was formed and has acquired many skilled craftsmen. Heritage Sleep Concepts began manufacturing the famous brands of Eastman House and Eclipse in the early Spring of 2015. " We see a big opportunity to bring the "Heritage" of quality and value with skilled manufacturing to the independent dealer and to their consumers" stated Terry Spears, President and CEO.
