The Wood Smith Company CO-OP is pleased to announce its grand opening, marking the beginning of an exciting new chapter in woodworking education and community building. After months of meticulous planning and preparation, our state-of-the-art facility is now ready to welcome members, providing access to a fully equipped professional wood shop seven days a week. Our comprehensive services include: 1. Professional-grade equipment. 2. Lockers for rent, ideal for storing personal items and project materials. 3. A wide range of hardwoods, cabinet-grade sheet goods, sandpapers, and finishing supplies, available for purchase on-site. 4. Group classes and youth camps. 5. One-on-one coaching for complex projects. 6. Design and build software with instructional production blueprints. To ensure a safe and enjoyable experience, members must: 1. Pass a safety course. 2. Attend a shop and equipment orientation. 3. Complete a first aid course. 4. Wear required personal protective equipment. Our official opening date is March 1st. Build Your Own Humidor: A 4-Week Woodworking Experience

Craft a custom humidor in this hands-on woodworking course designed for both beginners and experienced makers. Over one 3-hour session ad 3 2-hour sessions (10 total hours), you’ll learn precision joinery, fitting, sanding, and finishing techniques while building a functional humidor from premium materials. All tools and supplies are included. The experience concludes with a guided cigar and whiskey tasting to celebrate your finished piece. Limited to 14 makers for personalized instruction.
$375 per person.

The Wood Smith Company is going Co-op!!! Thats right, a fully equipped wood shop that gives you the opportunity to build your own projects! We will have youth camps, adult classes, and a full membership based program. If you need a personal woodsman for side by side coaching of your project, we have that covered also.
We are gearing up for this Co-op! We will be opening our doors to the public for sales on hardwoods, cabinet grade sheet goods, finish products, and much more! We will still be handling business for our clients on any orders for cabinetry, solid wood doors, custom designed wood trim, or any furniture heirloom that you may desire.
