Hey everyone, I hope all of you are doing well! I haven't posted anything in quite a while. 2020 has been an insane year for all of us. Aside from the onset of Covid 19 in early 2020, I was diagnosed with head and neck cancer in July of this year. So my business and productivity took a serious double hit. After 2 1/2 months of chemo and radiation therapy, and going from 184lbs to 140lbs in less than 2 months, I have made it through this life trial. My final scan isn't until December to make sure all the cancer is gone, but the Dr's feel very confident that we have got it all. I'm in recovery, which in itself is a struggle. Letting my throat and mouth heal, learning to swallow again and making the transition from a feeding tube back to being able to eat solid food again. My taste buds are slow to regenerate. I can taste some salty foods but sweets aren't registering quite yet. Slowly the tastes are coming back and doctors say it can take up to 8 months for things to return to normal again. I aspire to get back to creating more beautiful things with wood that you all will like. Please keep me in your prayers and thoughts. I'm getting stronger every day. May the almighty Father bless you all and always remember he tells us to fear not for in the times of trials he is with us.

My custom made veggie/fruit stands make your fruits always accessible to the family and vegetables actually keep longer before spoiling due to airflow and proper separation. Put fruits together but keep bananas away from citrus. Put onions and peppers together. Potato varieties can be kept on their own shelf below. $50 each

The third blessing was given by my brother, Joel Davis. Three easy to install light fixtures that took me from having 13 bulbs being powered throughout the room to only 6. The lumens and coverage area is magnificent!

The second gift was from my friend Darrell King. A 16 spd, 3/4 hp floor stand JET drill press that was in need of a few minor repairs. Again, exactly what I asked for.

I'd like to thank a few people for being part of the manifestation of upgrades to the shop. Loni (my wife) and I had sat down about a month ago and made a wishlist of things that would help streamline the process of making our pipes. In the list it included 2 more drill presses one to be heavy duty and one dedicated to the mouth piece hole. Better lighting in the shop. The first blessing was given by our friend LJ. He dug an old craftsman 3 spd bench top drill press out of a storage shed he has that he said must have been in there many years. It had been modified by its previous owner for staircase stiles with a pinch clamp built in.
