We are currently working on two new construction projects, and one of them has been in the planning process for over six months. One of the best things about a new construction project is when the designer is involved from the beginning and communicates directly with the client understanding what they love, what they don’t like, and how they truly want their space to feel.
It’s very different from when cabinets are simply placed on blueprints by architects without considering the real life functionality and visual balance of the space. Sometimes the geometry of the design is overlooked, decorative hoods are not centered properly, or electrical, plumbing, and vent locations are placed without considering symmetry or the final aesthetic the client is envisioning.
A designer takes all of those details into consideration the vents, electrical layout, plumbing, proportions, functionality, and overall harmony of the design. That collaboration makes a tremendous difference in the final result.
We are very grateful to these clients for involving us early in the process and valuing our opinion from the beginning. After months of planning, we are now moving forward with the implementation of the new cabinetry, countertops, pantries, closets, and more. We are truly excited to bring these projects to life.
Here is one of the “before” views of the project. Thank you for trusting us.
