When I first started sharing stuff on this platform, I posted only photos. Then I posted photos of processes. I received comments. "Thank you, I'm tired of the glamour shots". Then the videos and those videos were terrible. Now there are more comments some are ball busters while others see through the absurdity and admit that they like watching me work. True story, I had a couple that sat on their sofa with a bowl of popcorn. They said "I hope you don't mind? It's like having HGTV live in our home"
My daughter got to see how that is while I replaced the farm sink with her help. I'm so sorry for not capturing all that went down that day.
Since we have the ability to produce long format videos, why not share more information. We keep skipping over the hard stuff to make it look easy. That's miss leading.

Take caution when buying something that's not the original. The engineering may look the same. The fit and finish might be good enough, but are the materials of the same quality.
Some tools cost what they cost because they have to stand up to everyday use. While others may see some use when the weekend warrior has the time to build something.
Consider who you are before you make your next tool purchase.
My Swiss made Victorinox has stood the test of time while Gordon broke within a couple of months, it was a third of the price.
