Tri-State Stone & Tile, a 28-year-old granite & quartz countertop fabrication company in Rockaway, NJ, is looking for an experienced countertop installer. Main job duties are lifting countertops into customer’s homes, polishing, cutting, seams, mounting sinks, templating, and installing backsplashes and other related job duties. Must be able to drive a box truck.

Requirements for this position:
Speaks Fluent English
Authorized to work in the US
Valid and clean NJ license
Strong work ethic
Reliable
Basic construction knowledge
Able to lift heavy countertops
Pass a pre-employment background check

Hours are Monday to Friday from 8 AM to 4 PM, with some possible overtime. Currently available overtime is 15-20 hours. Some Saturdays from 9 AM to 3 PM. Paid holidays. Granite was selected because it’s heat- and scratch-resistant and able to withstand extreme weather, which makes it the perfect choice for three outdoor BBQ stations that were recently completed for a commercial project. Granite is a natural stone; therefore, no two slabs are exactly alike. One of our other customers was admiring these slabs prior to the fabrication process and noticed something that looked like a piece of artwork that wound up being in one of the mitered waterfall panels.
