Antique Remedies Antique & Modern Furniture Craftsmanship Bill McGowan has a lifetime of experience as a woodworker.

He has been restoring and repairing wood furniture, woodwork and wood embellishments for over 20 years. Over his career, Bill has attended several wood finishing courses and workshops, including coursework sponsored by Mohawk Industries in Hickory, NC; Furniture Carving and Woodworking Course in Camden, SC and many others. Bill has built his expertise and reputation as a master woodworker through

experience and detailed craftsmanship for his industrial clients, businesses and historical societies in the Carolinas and beyond. Bill has knowledge and practical experience with virtually all wood finishes and wood species, including modern and historical finishes and processes and historical restorations and conservations of antique and historical wood furniture and woodworking pieces.
