It’s been a busy April and the farm keeps us grounded ❤️

One of my favorite things to do…arranging small bouquets 💐

For those who are new here, we have a small flower farm that primarily grows dahlias and herbs.

My husband’s family introduced gardening to me in 2021 and we have absolutely loved learning from every season we’ve had so far.

You’ll find bouquets at The Mercantile like this, flowers from our farm when possible and of all sizes.

This is a special bouquet, a request to make a day brighter, and if I can be a part in making that happen, it makes my heart smile ❤️

Property is waking up ☀️

Silage tarping the fields this week to support w**d suppression - worked wonders last year along with compost

Succession planting happening in the barn with our seed starters - herb bouquets are my favorite, the scent is amazing!

The raised flower beds took a beating from Mother Nature this past winter, repairs are needed

Lots of sticks to pick up before we hit the yard with the first grass mowing - fertilizer already applied

March has come and soon to be gone, and April showers bring May flowers….cheers to warmer weather ahead!
