As of May 1st I will no longer be taking on public work at Anchor Upholstery. The shop will remain open as I will still be doing work for a few decorators directly and of course to work on and store my own projects for our Twelve Cent Vintage Booth. Unfortunately the bridge has made this decision necessary. All work that is currently in the shop or in the process will be taken care of (I'm not closing shop entirely). I'm just refocusing the work I will be doing and taking in the future, to make life a little easier. So don't stress your pieces will be done soon :)

To give folks an idea of why a motorcycle seat doesn't cost $75 anymore. 35 to $40 in final and cell foam. Stainless steel staples cost $38 a box. Plus two and a half hours of labor between removal, cutting, sewing and reinstalling the new cover. I wish it was 1990 just like the rest of you all. But unfortunately it's not. Hope this picture gives folks and I dare of what's involved in this type of job. Have a great day folks.

Some custom booth backrests

When the customer builds a custom ottoman to go with the sentimental chair you made leather cushions for. Then you get to make the cushion for the ottoman as well. Love when it all comes together
Pretty nice work on their part building it.
