Finally got the news today that I’m getting fusion surgery on my lower back in a couple weeks at WVU. Fingers crossed this works. S1 to L3 discs are being fused but probably not my last surgery due to degenerative disease Hopefully i’ll be back up and running for kayaking this summer.

Our customer needed a shelf for two computer monitors and after figuring out measurements they wanted to make them, so an old piece of cherry that I played with is now there’s! They learn how to use a table saw, mitre saw, pocket screw jig, orbital sander and spray a finish in this practical project! if you have something you want to create let us know

I know it’s been a long time since the last post because back issues are a major hindrance on life. So I managed to get the woodshop cleaned up and running for a small production run. If you’re looking for cutting boards, shelves, furniture repairs and custom projects done let me know and I may be able to tackle it for you. If you need anything for Christmas season let me know now because I’m not moving that quick.

LIVE MUSIC - Come and enjoy some live music this Saturday December 18th while you shop the 14 vendors at Azad's Holiday Marketplace & Open House. Dave will be making one of his famous Holiday Punches and will provide some light holiday treats, but otherwise, this event is BYO. There is a fridge on the 2nd floor to store your favorite beverage and an ice machine for coolers on the 1st floor. Friends and Family are encouraged to bring a covered holiday treat to share with all; or you are welcome to order carry out from one of the fabulous eateries in Downtown Cumberland to enjoy at the Qashqai. Lost Mountain BBQ Company - Cumberland will be open from 11AM-7 PM with tents for seating set up in front of the gallery; Mise En Place Cumberland MD from 5-9 PM; Ristorante Ottaviani from 5-9 PM; Corner Tavern & Cafe from 8AM-11 PM; and Baltimore Street Grill from 11AM-9PM for a few close options.
Complimentary vendor space has been provided by Dave Love of the Qashqai, and the free live music is being provide by Dr. Reza Azad of the Fairfax Rug Company. Happy Holidays!
