Happy Birthday to the most wonderful, beautiful, kind, loving, patient, hard working, diligent, and best wife and mother of all time. She’s truly the GOAT of women and I’m so thankful I get to share life with her. The years have brought so many blessings I can’t count them all and I know more are coming with you by my side. I love you so much Whitney, thank you for loving me. Also, sorry if you don’t like some of the pictures I chose, but I like them so too bad. Haha 😆

“Finally, be strong in the Lord and in the strength of his might. Put on the whole armor of God, that you may be able to stand against the schemes of the devil. For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the cosmic powers over this present darkness, against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly places. Therefore take up the whole armor of God, that you may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand firm.”

There’s a weird and great dichotomy for Christian. We are called to be warriors for Christ, evangelists for His Gospel, and agents of love to those around us. For that we are enemy’s of many for Christ’s sake. If you’re on the outside looking in you might assume we oppose you, that we hate you, and that we’re in it for our cause. The truth is, we’re for you, we love you, and we’re in it for you. What we oppose is the devil and his schemes. What we oppose is anyone left out of the eternal glory because of evil deceits. Charlie didn’t debate to publicly shame anyone and then go brag to his Christian friends about it. He didn’t show up surrounded by crowds to preach to those in agreement. He endangered himself in public to get struggling and lost young people to think about and consider a better way. To consider The Savior, The Way, The Truth, and The Life; who is Jesus Christ. And that’s the image of a warrior for Christ, an evangelist for His Gospel, and an agent of love. It’s a beautiful dichotomy.
I think Charlie Kirk would agree with me in saying to those who hate him and anyone else following Jesus. While we hate the devil and his evil plan, we love you, we want you to feel loved, and we want you to be forever changed by the good news of salvation which is the Gospel of Jesus Christ.
Say yes to Jesus and watch everything change.

Wish you could be in the shop with me now. The smell of the cedar and cool morning air with a touch of fall. A love being a part of something beautiful, I’m not the greatest woodworker, but I’m always inspired by the beauty of God’s creation, and being able to make things with the things He makes is always good. And I guess no matter what we do, whether it’s working with wood or working with people, we can all do that.

Looking for a sleek console table to go along with your favorite impressionist piece? Just got this glued up this afternoon and I’m super happy with how it’s turning out. Can’t wait to get back in the shop tomorrow morning to get the final shaping sanding and finish done.

A lot of shop cleanup and organization today. I forget how much potential there is just sitting in my shop sometimes. Lots of white oak, cherry, black limba, and even some bubinga in there.

Just dropped off a few of these shave soaps downtown at store. I have sensitive skin, so shave with a safety razor every day and enjoy brushing on my lather. The problem is that most (pretty much all) soaps I buy in stores fail to give the rich lather I like. So I took matters into my own hands and decided to make my own. And honestly these are the best shave soaps I’ve used. The lather and lubrication is better than any soap I’ve used and I think they smell great too. I call this the woodsman scent because it smells like a woodsman haha. I use the essential oils of lemon, cedar, tea tree, and cloves in these. Hope you have a great day.
