It's been a slower week furniture-wise so I whipped up this cute lingerie chest with built in jewelry compartment! Does this look familiar? If it does, that's because I've refinished this same style piece before! Last time I painted it a creamy linen color, this time it's a slate blue/grey with a subtle brown glaze over it. It's always fun when I can do a different design on a piece! Well, today I'm off to bake some more zuchinni bread (since my garden is basically throwing them at me) and have craft day with my girls! I hope you all have an amazing weekend!

Oh boy do I have some goodies at the shop this week! The Queen made it up there safe and sound (I had fingers and toes crossed) and she is just so very magical. In addition to all my other pieces currently at the shop, I also refinished an adorable nightstand and a cool barn wood accent table. I'm going out of state this week (Tennessee woohoo!) but I've already got some back up pieces ready for next week. See you all later! 😊

Now I know the majority of you all wanted me to keep this big girl as she was, but I really felt like she needed a little face lift. I stayed classic (per the advice of my mother in law) and I'm in love! Hopefully you all like this classic combination as much as I do!

It's a joke between my hubby and I that I seek out the heaviest pieces of furniture on the planet. He's right, I do 🤣 Heavy is a great thing though! It means this piece is solid and well built! What color would you all like to see this painted?

🎆Happy 4th of July! I decided to be productive and work on a few pieces today. I have used up the last of this barn wood on these two bookshelves today and I'm so pleased with them! The shorter one is for my daughter (she actually painted it therefore has staked her claim!) but the tall one will be headed to the shop this week. I also finished this curvy linen sofa table. I love the detail on the bottom! I hope you are all enjoying your day 😊
