Love being able to recreate pieces from scratch and match so well to a 1930s piece. Client had two rotten front porch post on the lower steps and wanted to change the post and caps out to match what is on the upper post.

Simple but looks great! Painter will be taking care of paint.

🔥🔥 These faux red oak beams turned out great. The design was already decided as we had to match existing but we installed the last (4) to match. Next up is the fireplace in red oak and a few door casings/ trim and this job is a wrap.

😳Back porch was on the verge of falling over and doing a large amount of damage to the house. What we found during demo was a ton of rot in the main beam, cased post (hollow in the center) and post connections made with trim nails.

Once we demoed all of the bad out we installed new 6x6 post with proper post connections. A new triple 2x12 beam on the front, reinforced the upper deck, new upper post and new decking on the top deck. This job took about 6-7 days and was a huge improvement as the integrity of the old structure was compromised.

We also took some of the old beam that was still solid and made the customer an outdoor coffee table as a little momento.
